Football Game Recap: Red Cloud vs. Custer

Custer might have drawn first blood against Red Cloud on Friday, but it was Red Cloud who got the last laugh. Custer took a 35-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Red Cloud. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Custer of the 19-34 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.

The defeat dropped Custer's record to 4-3. The victory bumped Red Cloud's record up to 5-2.

Next week Custer take on Lead-Deadwood at 6:00 PM. Lead-Deadwood have averaged 55 points over the course of their past five games, so Custer might be in for a challenge. Red Cloud will take on Little Wound at home at 2:00 PM.
