Woodside and Bethel are an even 5-5 against one another  since May of 2018, but likely not for long. Woodside will head out on the road to  take on  Bethel  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Woodside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5  runs per game  this season.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Woodside and Phoebus had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Woodside came out on top against Phoebus by a score of  13-10  on Thursday. The  win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Phantoms: they've now won three in a row.
 Cameron Moody made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Moody was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-5.
 In other batting news, Woodside got a big performance out of  Jamarey Hardin, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-5.  Shaquan Patrick also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
Meanwhile, Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Menchville. That's two games in a row now that the Bruins have lost by  just one  run.
  Conner Lamb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Woodside,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Everything went Woodside's way against Bethel in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, as Woodside made off with  a  15-6 win. Does  Woodside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bethel turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
