Softball Recap: Folsom Falls Short of Oak Ridge in the Playoffs

Folsom and Oak Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Folsom had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 7-1. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Folsom now has a losing record of 12-13-2. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Folsom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Ridge, they have already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Tracy on the 20th.
