Softball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Cleveland Storm. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Storm when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeh Tafoya, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Cleveland, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-9 defeat against Los Alamos on the 20th. Cleveland has also already played their next game (against Sandia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
