Football Game Preview: Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes vs. Pittsfield Generals

The Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes will head out to face off against the Pittsfield Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pittsfield took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Amherst-Pelham Regional, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Amherst-Pelham Regional was able to grind out a solid win over Wahconah Regional, taking the game 32-19. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, Pittsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Chicopee Comp, falling 44-6.

Amherst-Pelham Regional's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pittsfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Amherst-Pelham Regional beat Pittsfield 33-20 in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hurricanes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
