Softball Recap: Tri-Central Trojans vs. Clinton Central Bulldogs

Tri-Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Clinton Central Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 14-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Emily Maruszewski made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. Adriana Perez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Tri-Central's record is now 2-8. As for Clinton Central, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.
