Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cory Lamb-Jones and Pierce Rogers Lead Shadow Mountain to Victory

Shadow Mountain had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 47-43 W over the Goldwater Bulldogs on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Matadors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shadow Mountain was led to victory by Pierce Rogers and Cory Lamb-Jones. Rogers posted 12 points, while Lamb-Jones had 15 points.

Shadow Mountain's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-9. As for Goldwater, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Shadow Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-49 defeat against Moon Valley on the 21st. Goldwater has also already played their next game, an 89-26 loss against Prescott on the 20th.
