After a string of six wins, Metro Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 7-3 to the Berryhill Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 16-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Metro Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Berryhill, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Metro Christian will head out to challenge Sequoyah at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sequoyah will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Metro Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Berryhill, they will take on Stilwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
