Softball Recap: Ellington Knights vs. Granby Memorial Bears

Ellington proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by eight) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Granby Memorial Bears get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Camryn Fisher's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 32 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Tyla Gambacorta was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one double. Madison Havener was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.
