Softball Recap: Bigelow Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bigelow had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 19-run drubbing they dealt Wonderview on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Daredevils a 19-0 shutout. The Panthers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th (when they won 22-1).

The victory was the third in a row for Bigelow, bringing their record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Wonderview, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bigelow will welcome Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wonderview, they will host St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
