Volleyball Game Preview: Cottonwood Colts vs. Park City Miners

The Cottonwood Colts will take on the Park City Miners at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Cottonwood came up short against Jordan on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Beetdiggers: they've now lost three in a row.

While Cottonwood ultimately came up short, they really made Jordan work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Park City earned a 3-1 victory over Stansbury on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won four in a row.

Park City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-22.

Cottonwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Park City, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
