Howell Central entered their tilt with Liberty on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Howell Central was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

Gavin Schlatter paced Howell Central's offense, picking up 14 kills. Schlatter got some help from Chase Williams and his 27 assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Howell Central's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-3-2. As for Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10-1.
