Baseball Recap: Morris County Tech Takes a Loss

If Morris County Tech was riding high fresh off their 20-1 takedown of Orange on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Devils fell just short of the Pequannock Golden Panthers by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Devils of the 5-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Morris County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pequannock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morris County Tech will challenge Sussex County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pequannock, they will head out to take on Parsippany at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Redhawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Golden Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
