Basketball Recap: Pepin/Alma Comes Up Short

Pepin/Alma lost against Cochrane-Fountain City back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pepin/Alma came up short against the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates, falling 77-57. While losing is never fun, Pepin/Alma can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Cochrane-Fountain City is ranked 33rd).

Pepin/Alma's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Pepin/Alma will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eleva-Strum at 7:15 p.m. on January 28th. Cochrane-Fountain City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
