Football Recap: Lodi Flames vs. Lincoln Trojans
Lodi extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-8. They lost 38-14 to the Lincoln Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Flames can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 609th, while the Trojans are ranked 263rd).

Don't try to pin the team's loss on the defense: they kept the trenches locked down and allowed a mere 2.6 yards per carry. Gray also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, which is notable because Lincoln is 2-1 when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
Looking ahead, Lodi will head out on the road to face off against Edison at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln, they will welcome St. Mary's at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 42 points per game this season.
