Volleyball Recap: Archer Comes Up Short

Archer saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeside Vikings. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Curry paced Archer's offense, picking up nine kills. Curry got some help from Agatha Kubecka and her 16 assists. Janelle Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Archer's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Lakeside, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Archer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Shiloh on the 19th. As for Lakeside, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clarkston at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th.
