Football Recap: Attica Starts Season with Loss at Home

Attica unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The contest between the Red Ramblers and the Culver Community Cavaliers didn't end well, with the Red Ramblers falling 26-7. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Despite the loss, Attica still got an impressive performance from Tristen Miller, who picked up 116 receiving yards and one TD.

Attica didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Dallas Bartlett.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Culver Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb McCuen, who rushed for 42 yards and one score.

Looking ahead, Attica will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Culver Community, they are taking a road trip to challenge West Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
