Baseball Game Preview: Chicago Academy Cougars vs. Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks

The Chicago Academy Cougars will square off against the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Chicago Academy and four for Steinmetz College Prep.

Chicago Academy's last matchup with Lake View could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Cougars lost 12-2 to the Wildcats.

Chicago Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dante Felix, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Steinmetz College Prep's offense. They came up short against Lake View on Wednesday, falling 16-0.

Steinmetz College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Chicago Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Chicago Academy couldn't quite get it done against Steinmetz College Prep in their previous meeting last Monday as they fell 19-14. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
