Softball Recap: Beaverton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts on Thursday, Beaverton came back down to earth. The Beavers fell just short of the Aloha Warriors by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.

Beaverton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quincey Compton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Beaverton's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Aloha, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaverton will welcome Westview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.67 runs per game on average), something the Beavers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Aloha, they will host Mountainside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
