Soccer Game Preview: Bingham vs. Mountain Ridge

The Bingham Miners will square off against the Mountain Ridge Sentinels at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Bingham needed a bit of extra time to put away Westlake. They had just enough and edged out the Thunder 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for Bingham.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Mountain Ridge made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cedar Valley on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Aviators with a sharp 5-1 win. Considering Mountain Ridge's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Mountain Ridge's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-2. As for Bingham, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
