Recap: Panama Razorbacks vs. Clayton Bulldogs
The Panama Razorbacks lost to the Clayton Bulldogs back in January of 2020, but the Panama Razorbacks didn't allow the Clayton Bulldogs the same satisfaction on Friday. Panama snuck past Clayton with a 57-52 win.
Clayton's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Shelton Lewis, who scored 16 points. The match was Lewis' third in a row with at least ten points. Tyler Clemons was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
The victory got Panama back to even at 1-1. As for Clayton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
Panama is on the road again on Monday and play against Cameron at 7:30 p.m. on December 4th. Cameron and Panama are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Clayton, they will be playing at home against Boswell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Boswell is ranked 27th, while Clayton is ranked 49th).
