Soccer Game Preview: Melrose vs. Raleigh-Egypt

The Melrose Golden Wildcats will take on the Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Raleigh-Egypt will have to contend with a Melrose team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen yet this season. Neither Melrose nor Hamilton could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Melrose's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Raleigh-Egypt was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Craigmont.

Melrose's draw gives them a new season record of 0-5-1. As for Raleigh-Egypt, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
