Recap: Antigo Red Robins vs. Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes
The Antigo Red Robins were the 56-20 winner over the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes when they last played one another back in October of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Antigo was dealt a 42-14 defeat at the hands of Fox Valley Lutheran on Friday. While losing is never fun, Antigo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Fox Valley Lutheran is ranked 72nd).
Liam Heiges had an outrageously good game for Fox Valley Lutheran as he threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 98 yards on only ten carries. Jack Egan also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
Antigo has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Antigo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fox Valley Lutheran will face off against Notre Dame Academy at 0:00 a.m. on Friday. Notre Dame Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
