If Cristo Rey wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Veritas Collegiate Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Marcqell Freeman. The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans enjoyed a cozy 60-43 win over the Cristo Rey Royals on Thursday for which the team can thank Freeman, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games he's played.

Veritas Collegiate Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 2-17.
