Shamrock piles up the points against Memphis

Recap: Shamrock Irish vs. Memphis Cyclones
The Shamrock Irish's's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past Memphis, posting a 44-2 win at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Shamrock's six-point performance the contest before.
Leading Shamrock to victory were Terry Menefield and Philip Cook. Menefield picked up 154 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Cook threw for 266 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt. Menefield's longest reception was for an incredible 79 yards. Braxton Allen did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 29 receiving yards.
Shamrock's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Memphis, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Shamrock will head out on the road to face off against Gruver at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gruver will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Memphis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
