Baseball Recap: Triad Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Triad had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Cary-Grove Trojans 3-1.

Drew Winslow looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Landon Loomis was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Triad has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-7 record this season. As for Cary-Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-14.

As of now, neither Triad nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
