Basketball Game Preview: Macomb Bombers vs. Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes

The Macomb Bombers will be taking part in a tournament against the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Macomb picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 45-37 victory over Peoria Christian. The win continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Abingdon/Avon made easy work of Pittsfield on Saturday and carried off a 55-33 victory. The Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Macomb's record is now 6-2. As for Abingdon/Avon, their record now sits at 11-1.

Macomb came up short against Abingdon/Avon in their previous matchup back in November, falling 46-41. Can the Bombers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
