Baseball Recap: Olathe North Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mill Valley, Olathe North was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lawrence Chesty Lions by a score of 5-1. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 6-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Olathe North back to even at 2-2. As for Lawrence, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Olathe North will challenge rival Olathe Northwest on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lawrence is set to take on their familiar foe Shawnee Mission Northwest on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Chesty Lions 4, the Cougars 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
