Soccer Game Preview: Chattahoochee vs. Johns Creek

Chattahoochee hasn't had much luck against Johns Creek recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chattahoochee Cougars will look to defend their home pitch against the Johns Creek Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Chattahoochee is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Dunwoody on Tuesday. Chattahoochee fell just short of Dunwoody by a score of 2-1.

Chattahoochee's goal came courtesy of Caroline Fike, who's now up to four this season.

Despite a strong season so far, Johns Creek has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 6-1 to Roswell on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Gladiators were already down 4-0.

Johns Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Chattahoochee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Chattahoochee came out on top in a nail-biter against Johns Creek when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 1-0. Will Chattahoochee repeat their success, or does Johns Creek have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
