Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only New Town walked away with it. They walked away with an 82-74 win over the Middletown Knights on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but New Town sure is getting used to it with their 24th in a row.

New Town's victory bumped their record up to 27-1. As for Middletown, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-11.

Looking ahead, New Town will challenge Largo on Friday. Largo knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully New Town likes a good challenge. Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
