Football Recap: Summit Makes It Seven in a Row at Home + How To Watch

Summit won the last time they faced Ridgeview and things went their way on Friday too. The Storm blew past the Ravens 35-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Storm's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Ravens are ranked 50th).

When it comes to explaining why Ridgeview lost, don't look at Ryden Nakamura. Despite the final result, he rushed for 75 yards and one TD.

Summit pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.3 points on average over those games. As for Ridgeview, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Summit will head out to take on Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Storm will be up against the Lava Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ridgeview, they will host Crook County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
