The Cherokee Braves will venture away from home to take on the Polk County Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherokee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.3 points per game this season.

Cherokee came up short against Murphy on Friday, falling 81-61.

The losing side was boosted by Samuel Hernandez, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Beam, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Polk County came up short against Mountain Heritage on Friday and fell 67-54. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Polk County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cherokee, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.

Cherokee strolled past Polk County when the teams last played back in January of 2018 by a score of 81-62. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
