Basketball Recap: Hopewell Takes a Loss

Hopewell lost against Avonworth back in December of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hopewell Vikings took a blow against the Avonworth Antelopes, falling 85-54. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hopewell now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Avonworth, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hopewell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beaver at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Avonworth and North Hills will compete for holiday cheer at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
