Basketball Recap: Walton Comes Up Short

Walton was the 43-37 winner over Bethlehem when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Walton Braves took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethlehem Wildcats on Monday. The Braves' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Walton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Bethlehem, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Walton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Baker at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walton is facing Baker at the right time seeing as Baker is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bethlehem, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Covenant Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
