 Quabbin Regional's game  last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  an  18-5 margin over the North Polar Bears. The high-scoring effort was just what Quabbin Regional needed considering they were shutout in their previous   contest.
  Martin Stoddard made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Stoddard was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sean Lapointe, who  scored five  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Andrew Warfield, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Quabbin Regional's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for North, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
 Quabbin Regional will head out on the road to  take on  Tyngsborough at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Burncoat at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
