Softball Recap: North Fayette Valley Falls to Riceville in First Game of Season

North Fayette Valley had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 10-2 to the Riceville Wildcats. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The win (which was Riceville's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

North Fayette Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-7 victory against Waukon on the 30th. As for Riceville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Clarksville on the 30th.
