Basketball Recap: SouthLake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

SouthLake Christian Academy and High Point Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but SouthLake Christian Academy had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 70-42 loss at the hands of the High Point Christian Academy Cougars. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 74-56 to them when the teams met back in February of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, SouthLake Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Dillon Mason, who posted 23 points. Mason's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Stone Myers was another key player, putting up 11 points.

SouthLake Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season. As for High Point Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-12.

As of now, neither SouthLake Christian Academy nor High Point Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
