Volleyball Recap: Taft Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Taft had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lake View Wildcats.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Taft was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-8.

Taft's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4. As for Lake View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taft will head out to take on Leyden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake View, they will venture away from home to face off against Von Steuben at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
