Soccer Game Preview: Millikan vs. Long Beach Poly

The Millikan Rams will square off against the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Millikan is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Last Tuesday, everything went Millikan's way against Cabrillo as Millikan made off with a 4-1 win. Considering the Rams have won 12 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Cabrillo with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Juan Vasquez (2), Wylan Gohn, and Jaycob Alfaro Plascencia.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Long Beach Poly). They had just enough and edged Lakewood out 4-3.

Millikan's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2-1. As for Long Beach Poly, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-6.
