Basketball Recap: Waco Takes a Loss

Waco lost against Harker Heights back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell 62-51 to the Knights. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waco's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Harker Heights, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Waco will take on Arlington Heights in a tournament on Friday. As for Harker Heights, they will square off against Meyer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Ravens' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
