Tate Saso posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out five batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.

Saso and McKinleyville are on the road again on Wednesday to play Arcata at 4:00 p.m. The last time Saso duked it out with the Tigers (two weeks ago), the Panthers came out on top by a score of 10-0.
