Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Val Villa stepped things up a notch to give Buckeye the 'W'. Villa scored two runs while going 2-for-5, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in doubles.

Coming up, Villa and Buckeye will head out on the road to square off against Verrado at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Villa has dominated as far as runs are concerned (she's averaged 2.5 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Vipers have only allowed 1.85 per game this season.
