Basketball Game Preview: Mishawaka Marian Knights vs. Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles

The Mishawaka Marian Knights will take on the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Mishawaka Marian turned things around against New Prairie on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cougars as they made off with a 45-24 victory. That 21 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Meanwhile, Elkhart Christian Academy came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 52-36.

Elkhart Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Mishawaka Marian, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-12.
