Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Victorious

Montgomery's tournament run continued when they took on St. John on Saturday. The Bears came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 2-0.

Delaney Wright paced Montgomery's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wright got some help from Ava Collins and her 25 assists. Kennedy Marriott controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for St. John's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Montgomery didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against V.R. Eaton on the 16th. As for St. John's, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Fort Bend Christian Academy on the 19th.
