Football Game Preview: Argonaut Mustangs vs. Galt Warriors + How To Watch

The Argonaut Mustangs will square off against the Galt Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Argonaut has given up an average of 36.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Argonaut took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Rosemont 36-33. Things were looking grim for the Mustangs in the second quarter (they were down by 20) but they stormed back to get the game.

Meanwhile, Galt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Amador, falling 47-0.

Argonaut's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Galt, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Argonaut didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Galt in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 21-17 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
