Football Game Preview: Pace Patriots vs. Crestview Bulldogs

The Pace Patriots will square off against the Crestview Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pace will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Pace's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Navarre 34-0. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 32 points or more this season.

Pace's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amaya Pablo led the charge by throwing for 181 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of her passes. Emma Sutton was Pablo's top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Pace didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Josie Arthur and Pablo. Pablo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Crestview's offense. They took a blow against Choctawhatchee on Friday, falling 45-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pace's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Pace beat Crestview 14-6 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will Pace repeat their success, or does Crestview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
