Volleyball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Thursday.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Highland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Cardinal on the 20th. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they will square off against Wapello on Thursday.
