Soccer Recap: Sedro-Woolley Comes Up Short

Sedro-Woolley lost against Mount Vernon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cubs came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-1. Sedro-Woolley have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sedro-Woolley's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Mount Vernon, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.

Sedro-Woolley will take on Anacortes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anacortes will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Mount Vernon, they will face off against Bellingham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellingham's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
