Football Game Preview: Lewisburg Patriots vs. Hernando Tigers + Official Tickets

The Lewisburg Patriots will square off against the Hernando Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewisburg is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Lewisburg is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Southaven on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Patriots lost 31-7 to the Chargers. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hernando entered their game against Tupelo on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers took a 35-17 bruising from the Golden Wave. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Golden Wave are ranked third).

Although Hernando took the loss, they still got scores from Terronce Walton and Myles Bryant.

Lewisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hernando, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
