After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbia, Lancaster Country Day were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-47 victory over York Country Day. That's another feather in the cap for Lancaster Country Day, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
York Country Day lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ryan Maus, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Maus hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Isaiah White was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Lancaster Country Day now has a winning record of 6-5. As for York Country Day, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster Country Day will take on Pequea Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for York Country Day, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome West Shore Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th.
